John Lenahan III (Trip)

John Lenahan, III, or "Trip" to his family and friends, can almost claim to have learned to be a lawyer through osmosis. Trip was literally surrounded by his chosen career since birth: his parents and two sisters are lawyers, as were both of his grandfathers. Additionally, five of his aunts, six of his uncles, and twelve of his cousins have law degrees.

"Growing up, I saw first-hand how a good lawyer can help a family when a loved one suffers a horrible injury -- and the importance of working hard for your clients," Trip Lenahan said. "The practice of law is so interesting. I can't tell you how satisfying it is to be here helping clients."

It makes it even more special for Lenahan to practice at the law firm founded in 1948 by his grandfather, John R. Lenahan, Sr. and to work with his father, John R. Lenahan, Jr. and uncles, Tim Lenahan and Brian Lenahan.

"Working alongside my father and my uncles taught me how to fight for clients and how to win cases. That's an uncommon legal education, and I'm so fortunate for the experience."

Trip Lenahan is a graduate of Villanova Law School and Swarthmore College. While in law school, Lenahan put his skills to work as a legal intern with the Pennsylvania Innocence Project and the Philadelphia Public Defenders Office.

Trip Lenahan is concentrating his practice helping those who have suffered serious injuries. He has a particular interest in motor vehicle crashes, truck crashes, serious slip and fall cases, workers' compensation, products liability, brain and spinal cord injury cases, and any area where an innocent person has been injured.
